How to: Delete a chart legend in Excel.
Solution:
Select the legend to delete and press DELETE.
To delete a chart legend:
1) Select the chart.
a) If the chart is embedded on the worksheet, double-click on the chart.
b) If the chart is on a separate chart sheet, click the tab for the chart sheet.
2) Select the legend to delete. (Handles appear around it.)
3) Press DELETE.
